Just wanted to share... Mike's idea of babysitting... :)  Love him!!!



Moving!!!!

We have had a couple of busy weeks.  Mostly because we moved!  For the last ten months, we have been living in the Buhler's basement.  We have been so grateful to spend so much time with the Buhler Family.  We have laughed, cried, and partied together.  Sarah was especially grateful to be living there after having Madi.  She had willing babysitters at her every beck and call! :) 

The opportunity arrived to move into this cute old farmhouse in American Fork.  It was built in 1897, but has been taken care of relatively well.  We have three bedrooms, which is more room than we could dream of.  We have definitely been discovering little quirks about the house, but it has tons of character!!  We have loved decorating it, and making it "ours".We feel so grateful to have our own space, and be our own little family! 
We would love to have people come over to see it.  Just give us a ring! ;) 

This is our first night in the farmhouse.  Yes, our bed is not on a frame, and is on the ground.  And yes, we hadn't unpacked our linens, so there were no sheets on the bed.  But, you get a bonus five points if you can find Mike snuggled up in the blankets! :)

Madi was SSSSOOOOO patient through most of the move.  The poor girl was pretty neglected, and didn't get her usual playing time in.  But none the less, she still had a smile for all. :)

We were so grateful for all the help in getting us moved.  We couldn't have done it without all the trucks, and muscles, and happy attitudes!  We are so blessed!  Can't wait to see everyone!



Next Madi Update...

Madi and I went to the Docter today for her 6 month well-child check.  She is now 17 pounds 13.4 ounces, which means she is still in the 80% percentille for her weight.  She is 25.8 inches long, and in the 50% percentille.  She is still growing! :)  As the Dr. was going through the checklist of things that she will developmentally be doing, she is already doing most of those things!!

One of the funniest things about Madi right now, is that how she stares at food.  We will be sitting at the dinner table, like for Sunday dinners, and she will watch every bite of food go into our mouths!  She totally acts like she want to eat our food too!!  We decided to endulge her, and gave her a pizza crust one night.  She LOVED it!  She got mad when we took it away due to it getting soggy.  :)

Also, check out those thighs!!  (I was reffering to Madi's, but Mike's are pretty cute too!)  She has the cutest chuncky thighs!!  They are adorable!!!!

Lately, she loves playing with the Toddler Lock App on Mike's tablet.  She loves the sounds, and the colors.  We love that she can be entertained by it.

And don't worry... we get great use out of Perry! ;)

Isn't this adorable?  She is so cute when she is sleeping...

Unfortunately, our little sweetheart was sick for several days.  :(  She had a really bad cough, and was very congested.  She wasn't sleeping very well, and had a low-grade fever.  We were worried about her.  But luckily, she has been getting a lot better!!  We are so grateful!

We are totally raising a TV-aholic.  She loves Baby Ensteins, and anything on the Baby Channel.  I know she shouldn't be watching so much TV, but it's the only way I get things done!!   Otherwise I am too distracted by playing with her!  Can you blame me?!



Madi is 6 months old!!!

Happy "HALF" Birthday to Madi!!!!  We can't even believe that our sweet little Madi is 6 months old.  Time sure flies!!!  We are so grateful for the chance to have the beautiful girl in our family. :)
