January 2013!

Some of us have cheated on our resolutions... hee hee!  I realized that it was awfully quiet at one time, and I found Madi eating this whole box of chocolates by herself!  Yikes!

This winter has been pretty cold!!  We took this picture of an icicle that goes from the roof of Mike's Grandma's house, all the way to the ground!  Look how thick it was!  Anyone who knows Mike, knows how much he loves winter... haha!!

Mike is such a great dad!  Madi loves playing with him!

One day, my parents had been babysitting for me, and we came to pick up Madi and found her in the master bathtub, all by herself.  My mom was in her room, but couldn't see Madi.  Grandpa had been in there with her, but had left for a minute.  She was having a blast in the bathtub, and didn't want to get out!  For some reason, our bathtub at home just isn't as fun... :)

At 8 months pregnant, due to fluctuating blood pressures, I was put on bed rest.  That was a joke... I had so much to do: school, callings, projects, let alone a 15 month old little girl named Madi, who hardly stops for anything!  But it was important to keep my blood pressure down, as we didn't want little Lucas to come too early.

Mike was putting our whole family on bed rest... :)

Madi and I had lots of cuddling time. :)  This was really a good thing, for once the baby came, her world was going to be turned upside down.

Madi had started winking... it is adorable!!!  Mike was able to capture it one day.  :)  Super cute!

She also LOVES the phone!  It's not like I am on the phone all day, but she knows how it works!

One Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa Buhler's house, Madi was given four lollipops from Aunt Lizzie.  Madi thought she was in heaven!  She would take turns licking each one.  She was super sticky afterwards!!

This was just a random picture that I took one night after her bath.  I thought the face she made was hilarious!!!

By the end of the month, I was seeing the Dr weekly, and doing non-stress tests twice a week.  I practically lived at the Dr's office.  But we were getting very excited for the newest edition of our family!

Christmas/December 2012 continued...

We loved bundling Madi up during the winter.  I am not sure she enjoyed it as much... :)

Mike went to a funeral with most of his brothers and sisters, and needless to say, they had some fun. :)  What can we say?  The Robbins are a party!

We love giving and receiving all the Christmas goodies from friends and family.  Apparently Madi liked it too!  We found her nibbling on the pumpkin bread. :)

The family Christmas parties are always a blast!!  We were able to go over to Grandma-Great's house and help her set up her Christmas tree.

Madi was able to play one of the angels for the Robbin's annual nativity reading.  She wasn't the most cooperative, but she was dang cute! :)

Most of the Robbin's grand kids, all dressed up, with Grandma Robbins.

Madi loved the Tinkerbell light-up, spinney-thing that Grandma and Grandpa Robbins gave her from Disneyland.

So for Christmas, Mike got a sound bar, which we purchased on Black Friday.  He was constantly asking to open it, and "test it out".  I wondered many times if I was going to come home to it set up.  But he respected my wishes, and so on Christmas Day, and 12:00 am, I let him open it and set it up.  He had been so patient!

We went over to the Buhler's house, bright and early, to open presents and have breakfast before my dad had to go to work.

We were trying to teach Madi how to rip the wrapping paper.  :)  So innocent!

She loved the "quiet book" from Grandma and Grandpa Buhler.  We are have been using it for church, and it is very successful!!

We then went home and opened our presents as our own little family.

"Yay... socks..." :)

She finally caught onto the whole ripping thing. :)

We felt very spoiled this year!!

On Christmas Day, our little Madi was pretty grumpy. :( Oxymoron right?  Being grumpy on Christmas Day?! It was probably from getting up so early that morning...

I used my new straightener to flip Madi's hair out.  It's been fun trying different styles on her hair.

Well, that pretty much completes our December of 2012.  It was a great month filled with family!

Excuses... excuses... :)

I have a million excuses for getting behind in my blogging... I am not going to tell them all to you, don't worry. :)

I am going to do my best to update you on our last few crazy months!

Hang in there!  Hope you don't get sick of us! ;)
